“What did I do This week?” I Will Tell You…

This week well the last 17 days actually have been hectic, basically we had family over from the UK to visit us here in Portugal. yhis was my wife’s daughter who is 24 and the two grandchildren, one boy 16months old and one girl 4 years old. Sometimes you need a little wake up call to remind you how peaceful your life is, and boy did we get one, lol. About 6am every morning, now I know for some people this is pretty normal but not for me.

I like to wake up gently with the sun shining through my patio doors, and to the sound of the birds singing there morning song “aahhh”. Instaed “crash, Bang, wallop..Screams, shouts crying, and that was just me trying to get some peace. I have to say it was very nice having them we went out every day to different beaches, we went to the zoo, the park, spent time in the beautiful gardens, actually most of the algarve here in Portugal is like a big garden they have the most beautiful flowers and plants, its a very colourful country in summer. Alas we took them back to the airport and the went off on their merry way, It took us a full day to put the hopuse back together, but it was fun. My hat goes off to all mothers they work very hard and they probably do not get the respect that they deserve, so all you guys or girls reading this take your partner some flowers home with you today and show your appreciation if they are in the house all day with the children.
